Ear infections

Hi Everyone,

I was out of town last week so I missed the weekly blog. But I'm back!

This week I have a small bit about chiropractic and ear infections. The explanation the treating chiropractor gives is a bit incomplete and over simplified. But I don't think many people really want to hear the complete details of what chiropractic may be doing to help ear infections. There may be an effect on the nervous system, and there are techniques that attempt to help the Eustachian tube drain better. Chiropractic care is probably not the best choice to help ear infections caused by a bacterial infection (but the treatment won't hurt either). In a case like this where antibiotics were not appearing to help, chiropractic may be a good choice. For more information, you can go to my website http://www.kellychiropractic.com/colic.html or ask your chiropractor.
